#21
Ike
Pickens
Chad

It’s nice to have so many legit options that span different eras of the game.

You forgot the Eighties
Collinsworth

Your point still stands though, we have had some great WR's

"Fast" Eddie Brown! I loved watching Boomer play fake and throw to Brown/Holman. Good times!

That's when I got hooked on the Bengals as a kid. Boomer's play fake, Eddie Brown, JB and Ickey, and Fulcher.

Lol... Yeah, that's how it works. They hooked me about a season before our first SB. Around 79 or 80, I guess. Kenny, Pete Johnson, Browner, Ike, Breeden, and they drafted Coliinsworth that year.

As a kid, I should have appreciated Munoz and Montoya more.  Hilarious

David Verser....just kidding.

But I will mention Darnay Scott. Darnay was 9th all time in catches. His Yard per Catch was 15.5..higher than Chad, Green, and Ja'Marr.
Also, in Darnay's career...1994-2001...Darnay never lost a fumble.

When in doubt, which was most of the time, Blake would chuck it to Scott  Rock On

Chase is unlike any player I've seen.  Maybe Steve Smith Sr.  He's smart, fast, strong and hyper-competitive.  Looks like a running back playing receiver.  Between him and 9, you have to be cognizant of the fact that you might be and probably are watching the two greatest ever to wear the uniform.

Chad for me is the face of the franchise from an all-time perspective. With Carson banished, he's the only relic from that time with legitimacy.  He was so good for so long that you almost took him for granted.  Tough as hell, too because there was nothing to him and he took shots from some real killers and popped right up.

I'm a huge AJ fan, but Curtis belongs in front of him.... IMO

That is what got me too.

Older brother was rooting for the 49ers, so what else was I supposed to do?

He has changed loyalties many times, currently a Chargers fan as he collects classic Dodge cars/parts.

I am more fond of the Ickey Woods and Larry Kinnebrew performances...

TJ disagrees and says Chad should be a HOF and is the best all time Bengal WR of all time, but Chase is on his way.

Chad said he never had a triple crown, TJ says he was a top 5 receiver 5/7 years.

Chase already has the best 2 seasons in bengals history.

Thoughts?

Ja'Marr will be the best, but Chad was damn good. Isaac Curtis is the best until Ja'Marr starts breaking both these guy's records.

AJ Green was damn good himself in his prime.

Ike was like Jerry Rice before Jerry Rice though, crazy speed and hands combination.

Chad was the crispest route runner and had the best toe tap of his time.

AJ had another gear in pads and could destroy entire secondary's even when they tried to double him being 6'4" with speed.

Ja'Marr Chase's balance, quicks, speed and strength are as elite as it gets, none better. He will be the best.

Right? As a kid, I just grew to expect the Bengals to always have boss OL...

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Of all the recievers, Isaac Curtis is the only one that made the league change the rules to give the DB a chance.

No props for the lightning-fast Bennie Brazell?

Seriously, it’s a tie between Ja’Marr Chase and Chad Johnson.

We had a lot of good ones and a few great ones. The ones that stick out to me are Issac Curtis, AJ Green, Chad Johnson and now ja'Marr Chase. If Ja"Marr stays healthy, he'll be the best Bengals receiver ever and one of the best the NFL has ever seen.
