The Cowboys play 5 games on Thursday in 2025 including both Thanksgiving and Christmas

I agree with the first sentence.  Thursday games should coincide with the start of bye weeks.  Those teams should be coming off bye week whenever possible.  Thursday games would be better as a result

I actually love this. I get together with my family every year and most of them love football but they are stealer or Vikings fans with some
Broncos fans mixed in. Everybody hates the Cowboys though pretty much and we drink a lot and are merry. Should be even more of a blast
this Thanksgiving with MY team finally on.

I hope not but if history is correct not good.  Coach did say after 6 years he is going to correct it this year.  Is it nust me or do we have the same team we had last year nut at a lot higher price tag and possibly without our best defense player.

The offense was good and we didn't really lose anything there. May have upgraded the G play. Tee may be "injured" less now that he has his money.

Defense is still a huge unknown with the new scheme.

Time to wait and see...

The key will be us not coming out of the gate looking sluggish and unprepared. We come out ready to play and we beat Cleveland flat out. The defense may have growing pains but the offense should be able to cover while it ramps up - heck even with epically bad defensive play last season we were still a missed Mac overtime GWFG from playoffs.

Contract is not what sidelined Higgins, he has not completed a full season yet without missing multiple games

Business decisions weigh heavily in contract negotiations.

I'd love to see us play the Ravens on Thanksgiving, which might be tough to find someone to miss Thanksgiving but I'm thinking maybe this college girl that has become one of my best friends.

She said the Bills game looks nice, which I agreed, but that will be during basketball season for her and she's leaning towards helping out with coaching.

If I can find someone to go to Miami, that would be pretty bad-ass too.

I'm planning to attend most games (home & road), and all I need is to hit the Powerball.

Picking wins is a fools errand. I do it every year, and fail miserably every year. It's a given the Bengals will lose some"gimme" games, and win some I don't think they will. I see an 11-6 record. I'm firmly in the "Expect the worst, hope for the best" camp.

Seems every 15 years the league deigns to grant us a Thanksgiving game.  Never in the 12:30 or 4:00 timeslot, mind you.  And, the 8:00 game we do get is never at home, of course.  No, that wouldn't do.

He's done it twice.

That's just flat out wrong by the league.

Two are back-to-back and one is their season opener, so it's not as bad as it looks.

I will say that they play the Eagles on Sunday and then the Chiefs on Thanksgiving on the short week, which is rough.

Their last Thursday night game is on Christmas, which you know Jerry will be happy about that cash cow.

That's a tough 4 game stretch for weeks 3-6 with 3 of the 4 on the road no less. Absolutely need to go into it 2-0. Lets see if the 7th time's the charm for Zac to get a team prepared to start the season.

Burrow and Taylor had some interesting thoughts today on the schedule:

"Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight primetime year isn't ideal," Burrow said after Tuesday's voluntary workout. "Maybe we can get one of those in Cincinnati next year. Please."

The Bengals have played a night game at MT&T Bank Stadium in each of the last three seasons.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor echoed Burrow's comments and said the team would prefer to have more primetime games at Paycor Stadium. This year, three of Cincinnati's four schedule night games are road contests. However, Taylor pointed to the team's success in those situations last season. Cincinnati won three of the team's five primetime road games in 2024 and said the team is embracing the challenge ahead of this year.

"Playing on Thanksgiving night in a standalone game with the whole world watching, sitting on their couch, is really exciting," Taylor said on Tuesday. "It's why you're in this business."

But it's not just the primetime games that Burrow wants. He also expressed a desire for the Bengals to get an international fixture. Cincinnati missed out on playing the Dolphins in Spain this year and are not slated to get an international game until 2027, Bengals executive vice president Katie Blackburn told reporters at the NFL's annual league meeting in April.

The Bengals aren't slated to be a home team for an international game until 2027.  They could still go next season as a visitor.  Joe when the Madrid rumors were floating around posting something along the lines of "hell yeah" in response

9 Primetime time games with only 2 at home is criminal.
