It has been ten years since the Bengals had a shutdown defense.

For as great as our (non-Patrick) offense looked against what, 1/2 of the Eagles starting defense?... our defense just got carved up by I believe largely the Eagles 2nd string.

Would have liked to see a Golden statement start by the defense.

We say that very year, it’s  only preseason., but it carry’s over every year.

They ran it right down our throats to score.

Plus easy completions when needed.

We are missing a lot on D, but that was against backups.

Someone remind me why we think this defense is supposed to be so much better?

No Dax, no Cam, no Trey.  I'm not going to lose it over this group just yet.

Golden is probably pissed off. That drive was painful to watch.

They don’t need to be shutdown. Burrow could win a bowl with just average. They still look bottom of the league though.

And I thought the idea was play the starters in preseason - that includes defense.

Shouldn't be all that difficult considering the competition.

What I'm learning right now is buy the Bengals players in fantasy.

They'll need to score a lot of points again this year.

There was 1 player out there who was a starter last year and it's the first game with a new coordinator. 

Maybe give them a series or 2

Missing our starting CBs and Trey but yeah not giving up a huge run would've been nice

In fairness their drive only consisted of one explosive play as apposed to last season where every play felt like it was going for 20+ yards.
