***Preseason GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Commanders***
The false starts killed it, but that was still a nice drive.

All but iced the game.

How is that guy still in the NFL?  Also, whoever the Bengals DE was for those last 2 plays looked good pushing Hart around.

Just keep 6 WRs

That is essentially 8 with Gesicki & Hudson.

1) I think you are probably right & Burton makes the team.

2) But he shouldn't. Because an undependable WR6 has less value than other guys who will bust their butts with less talent.

3) I'd take guys like Bryan, C. Johnson, I. Thomas, R. Johnson, Giles-Harris, Heyward, Njongmeta, and Grandy over Burton types.

4) I'd see if someone wants to play "pass your trash" and see if I can get some help at DT, DE, S, or OT..

Who was the LS there? Adomitis or Wagner?

Adomitis via ESPN.

Looks like he is #1 LS.

I saw him live against the Eagles, and he looked hesitant - which is almost always mental. He is learning a new system.

Tonight, the Commanders scored their TD by running the same B Gap as the Eagles ran last week. The difference was that Knight took the Commanders TE head on in the hole, instead of trying to run around the Eagles TE last week.

Although he got knocked back, that tells me that he is not only learning, but is willing to run through a wall. He did his job. I have no idea what Wilson was trying to do on that play.......

We gave up the TD, because Shemar ran himself out of the play, and we didn't have big bodies to counter the pulling LT and LG of Commanders.

Knight will be fine. He has alot to learn. I just hope the D-line can protect him a bit.

Preseason or not it’s nice for us and the players to get a W against a team who should be competing.

Leave Patrick in Washington and time to start pointing an ak47 at the defensive starters but overall much improved.

Wilson was responsible for multiple explosive plays. Including running into Knight and taking him out of his gap that the Commanders ran right through.

1) Tinsley makes the 53.
2) Browning much better. QB2.
3) Anderson & Carter with nice picks.
4) ST much better.
5) Adomitis looks to be the LS..
6) Heyward looked pretty good. LB5?
7) D looked good after the first two drives.
8) Starters continue to look horrid. Run D especially
9) Risner coming to town.
10) Starting OL looked pretty good.

Saw some things I really liked. Some things I didn't. No proof issues have been solved, but still good at what we are good at.
