I said when it happened:

1) Who called that play?

2) Why was that even a play to call?

3) Why did they ever waste time practicing that play?

I don't care if he can actually do that...don't.  Not during a game that was already making your team look like a laughing stock for being unprepared.

What's the recovery % when the receiving team is line up in onside coverage? I'd say any risk is worth taking when the other option is to softly kick it straight into a group of players who specialize in holding on to a football.

I'd saying running straight up the middle with 6 blockers to take on the 8 man front the whole game was a more puzzling and detrimental decision to having any chance at all to win.

That is the type of thing that usually only happens to the Bengals..

Steelers are slipping, really..

And of course don't discount the Steelers actually getting called for like half the penalties they commit in a game.

How was that thing going to go 10 yds anyway?

I thought that it went 10 inches. Then I saw the replay and realized that it didn't even go that far.... Shocked

In their defense, if it would've been against the Bengals, Burfict would've somehow drawn a personal foul and they would've somehow ended up with the ball.

The only thing that would have made that better is if it was done in London.
Now if someone was real creative and bored they'd take this picture and put Stephen A. Smith's head there instead.

You think a successful version of that kick goes screaming into the receiving team?  Onside kicks are low percentage.  Doing stupid things don't increase those percentages because they are different.
