Interesting. I'm going to show my football immaturity here, but the draft hasnt been over for more than 30 minutes. Are you kidding or is this serious?

Desmond Harrison out of West Georgia.
I still can't believe that we didn't take a right tackle, and he's a left tackle that needs to stay off the weed, but it's not that big of a deal for an UDFA and I don't think that he'd have much problem playing on the right side.
It looked like we were looking at him at one point and he was projected to go in the fourth or fifth round, so it would be a steal bringing him in as an UDFA at a position of need (or at least competition).

This would be a good get. Team should’ve burned one of those 7th’s on Toth from Army. Quality lineman who will likely pull a two year duty stint and then be eligible to play football.
Through 2023
Mike Brown’s Owner/GM record: 32 years 223-303-4 .419 winning pct.
Playoff Record: 5-9, .357 winning pct.
Zac Taylor coaching record, reg. season: 37-44-1. .455 winning pct.
Playoff Record: 5-2, .714 winning pct.

I think there might be a clause that if they were drafted they could be relieved from duty honorably. But it's his choice? I could be wrong.

If we offer him, I'm pretty sure that he'd choose an opportunity to start here rather than play in Cleveland.

I know sometimes that they let them off of their duty, but, on a draft show a little bit ago, they were saying he would have to do one year of service at a base in the US and then one wherever they send him.

I obviously have no idea how accurate that is or whether or not he'd qualify for it, but it is something to keep in the back of our minds.
Also, since the NFL stands for Not For Long, I wonder if they'd let him put off his duty until he got out of the NFL.

I wonder how that worked for Alejandro Villenueva? I guess I'll have to check his Wiki.
Alright. Villenueva went to active duty and served 3 tours in Afghanistan. At almost age 26 he signed with the Eagles, was released, and then signed by Pittsburgh. So, from that example, I guess they do have to give their service first.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Trayvon Henderson had a higher draft grade than Terrell Edmunds whom the Steelers grabbed in the first round.
Small School Stud: Trayvon Henderson, Hawaii
The same instincts and soft hands that helped Henderson record nine interceptions at Hawaii showed up at the Senior Bowl, where he stole the spotlight from more heralded safeties.

He was actually a Bengal first I believe. He has praised us for giving him a chance.

A good chunk of deals are done before the draft is. Pretty much teams are calling with "If you aren't taken in the next 20 picks, come here"
