Instead of folks trying to poke holes in the links of experts ratings of QBs why don't they post links that support their opinion?
I pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but let's just see what we get.

Can't believe you fall for all those "fake rankings" from the mainstream media.
Sad.
Can you show me a media ranking from before the '15 season that listed Dalton as a top 5 QB?

The question is about whether ranking Andy Dalton as an average QB is a reasonable conclusion. As a test I decided to look outside of this message forum to see what everyone else is saying. The first 5 websites all had Dalton average to below average. Those are the facts.
The question remains, are you able to provide any credible ranking that has Dalton ranked higher than average?

I've provided you with 5 lists (the first 5 i literally found in chronological order that had QB rankings). Why don't you show me some credible sites that agree with you......show me some rankings that have Dalton in the top 12...hekk the best one I found him was at 18 for cryin' out loud!
I'll be waiting.
Whether you find any or not the bottom line is that I've proven my point. Almost everyone that I've found has Dalton ranked average to below average so for you to sit here and act like that is a ridiculous opinion just makes you sound stupid.
You know who you have on your side? A guy who ranked Derek Carr #4 and Jerad Goff #30.
I am not some sheep that lets the mainstream media program my thoughts with fake rankings.
But I have dated that sheep.

You call a ranking that has Derek Carr #4 and Jerad Goff #30 "credible"?
If mainstream media "fake polls" were real we'd all be living in a socialist country under Sharia Law right now.

So essentially everyone in the entire world is wrong about Andy Dalton and a few die hard Andy Dalton fanboys on this message forum are right.
I digress.

Simple, they cannot find any rankings that support their claims.

How many of them had him ranked as a top 5 QB for the '15 season?
Zero.
So, yes, they are all wrong. Just like before.
BTW you are not "digressing" at all. Look it up.

Assuming you don't want to provide me with a link as requested.
As to your request, the media has probably never listed never listed Andy as a top 10 QB going into any of his NFL seasons. They have been right 6 of 7 times. Many in this forum have been right 1 of 7 times. Here's to hoping you guys make it 2 of 8 this upcoming season. I'll gladly endure the "I told you so's"

Which 100% proves my point.
The fake mainstream media hates Andy Dalton so they make up fake rankings placing him way too low.

Good ol' football. Dalton has been here 7 years, has started over 110 games, and attempted nearly 2,400 passes and we still aren't quite sure what we have in the guy.

Protection sets the read sequence.
The entire NE pass offense is built around the slot as the primary read. Coverage read aside, Brady decides within 1 second where he is going with the ball, because his slot has made his break by then.
If covered, his second read is the TE. So by 1.5 seconds he fires.
We beat them at home, because Geno got to him up the middle and shook him early. So even the best QB in the game can be beat by pressure up the gut.
Our problem the past two years hasn't only been the C/OL play. Boyd hasn't panned out in the slot and our TE can't stay healthy. The Center issues have made 5 step drops challenging, let alone 7 step drops.
Dalton isn't our problem.

I think your conclusion is valid regarding Bengal fans. Regarding the rest of NFL nation, i think we've proven via this thread that most consider Dalton an average to below average QB.

Just as an FYI. One of your "rankings" didn't rank the QBs. It ranked the teams by their QB confidence. It specifically mentioned it's not a ranking of the starting QBs.
