Pacman has found a new home.
After working out for Denver on Sunday, veteran cornerback Adam Jones is set to sign with the Broncos, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported, via sources informed of the situation.
Jones has languished on the free-agent market since March, when the Bengals neglected to exercise his $5.5 million option for the 2018 season. He worked out for the Browns early in training camp.
A Pro Bowl selection in 2014 and 2015, Jones took a step back last year, starting just nine games before a groin injury ended his season in early December. He declared himself "100 percent" recovered from sports hernia surgery in May.
Turning 35 years old in late September, Jones can still offer value as a nickel cornerback and return specialist. In 139 career games, he's found the end zone eight times via punt return, interception and fumble recovery.
Why Denver? Jones has a history with Broncos head man Vance Joseph who was defensive backs coach in Cincinnati during the veteran's best seasons.
Jones' addition should allow Joseph to take his time with the development of third-round rookie Isaac Yiadom, who has a promising future alongside starters Chris Harris and Bradley Roby.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

Good for him. Hope he tames his temper there. Will miss his kickoff return abilities. He was slightly declining in his regular duties, but as all the ho's in Denver will be saying, "That man has great vision and knows how to hit a hole!" LOL

He seems to have lost a step. Not worried.

A whole new group of strip clubs to conquer.

He probably hasn't been arrested in Denver yet.

I'm glad to see him out here. He'll be so out of breath the first year he's here he won't have any breath to lose his temper.

Seriously, it takes a minute to get used to the altitude out here.

There's a lot better stuff to conquer in Denver than strip clubs.

He's an athlete. Lots of things for athletes to do out here other than visit a few strip clubs.

But there's actually quite a few in Denver, now that I think about it.

It's weird bc it's kind of a techy-nerdy-granola folks type of city to have as many gentlemen's clubs as they do.

Welcome to Mile High City, Adam.

I don’t doubt it.

Good for Jones because i really worry about him after his playing days are over. Good heart that can't rid the thug inside.

Can easily see the headline:

"Former NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones shot and killed"

See your point. Hope he gets it right. Some of his problem is we didn’t really hold him accountable till we thought we no longer needed him. Hopefully Denver gives him a short leash.

Legal weed and alcohol. I say the over/under for his first arrest is 2 weeks.

He was a good player for many years. Not so sure I would describe him as a great guy though.  I guess it depends on what one considers a great guy? Great guy when it comes to getting into trouble? Then sure he is a great guy. :)
