D.J Fluker released by Seattle
#1
With the draft over and players now being release/cut I wonder if Fluker would be an upgrade to the line. Don’t think he had a stellar 2019 but either did the entire Bengals O-line

Will come down to $$, if he fits the system they want to bring him in.. other lineman will probably follow in next week or so that the Bengals might have their eye on also

DJ Fuker huh lmao!

Seriously though would welcome Fluker here if he is healthy and can play RT.

Always seen him play LT.

Russell Wilson was sacked 48 times last year. I can see why they're rebuilding their line. Weird, though, that they would sign CedO and release Fluker. Please tell me he's not worse than Og.

Didn't Fluker get shifted to Guard, at one point in his career?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Bengals History Lesson...

DJ Fluker just turned 29... Picture it: Cincinnati 2005 Bobbie Williams showed up when he was 28 and held down RG for 8 years until he was 35. He could be our Bobbie Williams 2.0

Too far with the Golden Girls reference?

I would love to bring him in for RG where he has played for the past 2 years in Seattle. Puts Redmond and Price to shame immediately...

Yup.  Last year he was moved to G.

Thanks for the confirmation.  I thought I remembered reading something about it, just couldn't remember when.

Fluker did not have great PFF numbers at guard like 60 or something. The last 5 games of the season I believe the Bengals line performed better as a unit. Michael Jordan, as a reference had a rating of 43.7. But Bobby Hart had a 57.7 rating.

Guess so, didn't know this and evidently sucked.

That would be awesome, just don't know how big of an improvement Fluker would be from the PFF numbers that I put no stock in.

Why would we care about someone who sleeps with Daniel Jeremiah?

No, I get it.  I saw the typo on the thread title, and fixed it for the OP.
