Bob Bedinghaus, director of business development for the Bengals, told WLWT-TV that the Steelers fan was escorted in handcuffs away from the fight, but was not arrested or charged.

Bedinghaus said it's unclear what sparked the fight at Paul Brown Stadium, but said it was near the end of the game and the Steelers fan might have been out of his seat and closer to the rails.

The Steelers fan was caught on camera waving a Terrible Towel while Bengals fans surrounded him and at least one woman threw punches in his direction.

Bedinghaus said he couldn't elaborate on what happened before the cameras started rolling.

He also said that once the man got upstairs, the situation was defused and fans on both sides made up and went home.

He said with as many as 65,000 people in the stadium, such situations aren't uncommon and can happen dozens of times.

Bedinghaus said that even though the video made the fight look pretty bad, people realized it was "stupid" and got over it.

Bedinghaus said no one was charged.
