Not extending Andy, benching Andy, or trading Andy aren't even in the same realm as cutting Andy. Xeno flat out said that "many of you", meaning many message board posters, have said to cut Andy. Not even his biggest haters have thought it would be smart to cut him. If you can show me otherwise, I'd love to see it. Funny the closest thing anyone could point to so far has been some guys hanging sheets over a bridge that say to not re-sign the guy. Not bench. Cut Andy. Let's see it smart guy. I can make stupid claims too, can we just pretend everything anyone on here says is fact? Many people say Andy is the greatest QB of all time, haha you guys are dumb. Who would say that? Lots of you say that, dopes. In fact, wasn't Fred just complaining in this very thread over somebody making the claim that people are hoping AJM fails? The same number of people hope AJM fail as the amount of people that call to cut Andy on here. RE: AJ McCarron is a future star - djs7685 - 08-03-2015 Not to mention neither of those two signs say to cut Andy. People being nutjobs saying to start AJ isn't the same as saying to cut Andy. Because I popped in to talk about AJ McCarron, who is a Bengal? Should I go talk about AJ Green on a Houston Texans board? This thread popped up when I was doing some googling on McCarron to see how he was doing in the offseason and in training camp (because I do think he has a lot of potential), I read it, and some of these Bengal fans seem like they have Stockholm Syndrome. They have some twisted love for the guy who has held the team hostage every year, and refused to open the cellar door even when it looks like he's finally going to. Bengal fans are trapped, and they defend him. I don't even think McCarron should see the field this year, I think he should get the Aaron Rodgers treatment for the full year. Does it sound like I care so much if McCarron wins the starting job or a superbowl? I was just checking to see how he was doing in camp, and couldn't believe some of these ridiculous comments. Thus I registered, thus I posted. To a Bengals forum, to comment on a Bengals player. Now I'm done. You stated you weren't a Bama fan, and you aren't a Bengals fan, so I was just curious why you were here.....nothing more, nothing less. I guess you're just a McCarron fan? In other news......that's killer that this board popped up on google. RE: AJ McCarron is a future star - jj22 - 08-04-2015 No fair calling for proof when it's a new board. I have a feeling we won't be hearing from those folks calling to bench Dalton for McCarron anymore however. But they are/were there. People can try to rewrite history when you can't go back and point folks out (especially after their argument of McCarron being better than Dalton look unfounded), but people have long memories. Someone brought up that it seemed like people were wishing McCarron to fail, and it became a big argument that "nobody has said that" and it was just people thinking he wouldn't be very good. So I just wanted to put the same logic in the same thread to use and make sure that everybody realizes that NO ONE outside of a low post count troll account has ever said to actually cut Andy. I've seen some guys say to bench him when he plays poorly and to trade him for a draft pick, but I honestly can't remember even 1 person saying to cut the guy. There's a huge difference between benching and cutting Andy. I've never said that there aren't guys that would want to trade or bench Andy. I'd bet there are at least a handful on this board that have said one of those things. Xeno claimed there are "many" people on here that have said to cut Andy. There are 0 people that have said that, and I don't even think anyone said that on the old board either. Cutting him would make absolutely zero sense right now, even his biggest haters know that.
