For years teams had a 1 rb mentality. Then quite a few years ago teams moved towards having 2 rbs. Now teams are realizing that having a 3rd rb that can play is a good thing for the long season and possible playoff run. I just have to trust these coaches and their vision for the season I guess. RE: ***OFFICIAL 2018 DRAFT DISCUSSION THREAD*** - bambino5130 - 04-28-2018 Can someone please remind the Front Office the Bengals current areas of need. RE: ***OFFICIAL 2018 DRAFT DISCUSSION THREAD*** - Bengal Dude - 04-28-2018 I’m wondering if they’re looking for an eventual Gio replacement. I guess they figure they have the oline they want, and have addressed safety and LB, and are now just going BPA.... Brian Hill looked good in limited action at the end of the season and we also have Jarveon Williams as well. Guys his size generally aren’t successful in the NFL with his testing numbers. He basically tested like Jeremy Hill but weighs 25-30 pounds less. This is the first pick so far that does not seem well thought out. They basically signed a guy in the 4th who will struggle to stay on the active roster and make the team. What do you want to bet they’ll get a tackle or guard with the first pick in the 5th. I predict Richardson, jones, teller or gossett |
