RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - Pat5775 - 08-19-2017 Maybe the players are as sick of Marvin as we are. They play like this all season and no doubt he'll be gone RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - bengalfan74 - 08-19-2017 (08-19-2017, 09:26 PM)HarleyDog Wrote: Coaching = F It's the same.....old song......... with nothing different........until he is gone RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - jeremydc - 08-19-2017 (08-19-2017, 09:32 PM)bfine32 Wrote: Folks are funny, they don't care about the score in PS until there's score. Perhaps Marvin wanted to see if the O had the discipline to get down and spike it or if AJM had the awareness to call the T.O. Everything is PS is practice for the regular season. Valid point. This is very likely a possibility. Marvin could have realized the score was the least important thing on that drive. How did AJM control the O without someone screaming in his ear. RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - Joelist - 08-19-2017 The reason folks are getting upset with what they are seeing in preseason is that we saw in spades last year that the old saying that preseason means nothing is not true - we had major OL problems showing up in preseason and the exact same issues on OL continued in the regular season. We also saw a super sloppy defense in the preseason play exactly like that for nearly half the regular season. It's amazing how we never land the pressure whether we blitz or not while other defenses whether good or bad have little problem getting through our "offensive line"... Yep. Thus why we don't perform in big games. Ross hasn't played and will likely be used only a little during the season. Mixon looks to have immense talent...but the poor offensive line will negate that. It's obvious. A RB needs holes and good blocks to get yards. It was a pipe dream thinking that Mixons talent would transcend that. Dalton was only sacked once but under pressure a lot. All in all...if they don't correct this, we're headed for 6-10 or 7-9. We drove down the field and scored as time expired. Great final drive, Now that was surprising. Un-Marvin like! I guess you have a point. However, Our defense looks like shit and when you get wrapped up in the game, although the score isn't important, we lose sight of that. However, I think your defense of Marvin is a little over privileged, I will agree because I love you man! I just plain love you! RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - HarleyDog - 08-19-2017 93? RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - bfine32 - 08-19-2017 Had no idea Orson Charles was still in the league. RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - Joelist - 08-19-2017 Time to cut Will Clarke. RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - bengalfan74 - 08-19-2017 Will Clarke looks completely lost RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - HarleyDog - 08-19-2017 God, why are we so weak in the middle? RE: (Preseason Week 2) ***Chiefs @ Bengals - GameDay Thread*** - Joelist - 08-19-2017 The funny thing is if you just watch Mahomes as a QB it does not look good at all. Mechanics are not good but the utter lack of any pressure means he is able to complete passes.
