Fins? RE: 4:25pm games thread - Nicomo Cosca - 01-05-2025 (01-05-2025, 08:49 PM)007BengalsFan Wrote: The offense is not entirely without blame. Defense held the Patriots to 16. Unfortunately all Burrow and the offense could mange was 10. Win that game and we are in the playoffs. This Pittsburgh game, defense carried the team. Last week the offense needed 3 possessions in overtime to score. Defense managed two good stops to give the team a chance. Yes the defense has played bad this year but the offense isnt without blame either. Because Tanner Hudson’s brain stopped working and he fumbled on the 1 yard line holding the ball like it was on fire. Not to mention they lost a possession due to the Chuck Fizzle fumble on a return. Just please for the love of God fix both lines and the D will improve drastically. If our Oline can keep Joe up along with a stout AFCN type defense this team would be unstoppable. RE: 4:25pm games thread - 007BengalsFan - 01-05-2025 I have no problem with Kansas City resting their starters. They want everyone as healthy as can be heading into the playoffs and a long rest will help that. Cant fault them for that. I just hope that strategy backfires and they end up be rusty resting so much while the team facing them will be game ready RE: 4:25pm games thread - TKUHL - 01-05-2025 (01-05-2025, 09:01 PM)Nately120 Wrote: The point was that no one knows or cares. Well they screwed us in the playoffs several times so they can piss off. :) RE: 4:25pm games thread - Fan_in_Kettering - 01-05-2025 This spring’s draft better be OL, DL, OL, DL, OL, DL, OL… RE: 4:25pm games thread - Nicomo Cosca - 01-05-2025 (01-05-2025, 09:03 PM)Fan_in_Kettering Wrote: This spring’s draft better be OL, DL, OL, DL, OL, DL, OL… Not if they let Tee walk. For sure lol. They added a salary floor for a reason lol. For there to get any change like above to happen, it would need to be from some darling team like the Chiefs, Steelers, Ravens, etc. RE: 4:25pm games thread - Nately120 - 01-05-2025 (01-05-2025, 09:28 PM)ochocincos Wrote: For sure lol. It's a joke response, anyways. Imagine the NFL looking at this season and deciding to punish the 15-2 chiefs of all teams for not trying to win enough. The chiefs are a few lucky breaks from going 8-9 but the NFL needs to punish them for going 15-2 and not 16-1...or something. We've gone delirious. Zac is responsible for some of our losses I'd say, with the pattern of slow season starts now on his resume. I agree. Zac is, as the young kids say, mid at best. He’s not a top tier HC, and not overly innovative with his offensive scheming. Since the front office won’t fire themselves, the logical place to make a change would be HC and staff. It won’t happen, we all know it, nor will beefing up the pathetic scouting department. RE: 4:25pm games thread - RunKijanaRun - 01-05-2025 Yeah, probably the most frustrating season for me, all things considered. And this team has a lot more questions than answers. Certainly no guarantee we’re any better next year. But we’ll hope. RE: 4:25pm games thread - RunKijanaRun - 01-05-2025 (01-05-2025, 09:05 PM)Nicomo Cosca Wrote: Not if they let Tee walk. I think the coaching staff will remain in place, unfortunately. RE: 4:25pm games thread - Housh - 01-06-2025 The Lions o line is so good Forgot your o line was actually allowed to win DOMINANTLY. Lions already got Gibbs to long ass tune just in the hour Iv been watching |
