RE: DC/OL wish list - QueenCity - 01-11-2025

I'm good with Eberflus - would be a fine hire.

RE: DC/OL wish list - jj22 - 01-11-2025

Better than a report he isn’t t even being considered. If they can land Eberflus, it’ll be a great start to the most important offseason in a generation.

RE: DC/OL wish list - Nicomo Cosca - 01-11-2025

Get it done.

RE: DC/OL wish list - phil413 - 01-11-2025

Yeah would be nice to land him and see if any of his former players hit the market.

Hmm.

This could be why they rushed two minority interviews to get through the process asap to get Eberflus to agree before more DC jobs may open up with the playoffs starting.

Must be false as both Eberflus and Saleh were eliminated as choices by some dude on the internet ninja:

On a serious note, i would be very happy if he were the choice

Buckner would be a great addition. Problem is he is not a FA. He played for him in Indy. Indy GM said today they are many pieces away from being a Super Bowl team. It appears he may be ready to blow up the roster.

How about we tag Tee and trade him to Colts for their 2nd, 4th in 2024 draft and 3rd in 2026.

I can dream

I agree, Eberflus would be a positive hire for sure, i would say this is the more important offseason since 2015, i felt 2015 draft and free agency set us down the road of decline during the playoff run with Dalton and Green era, this offseason could do the same with Burrow and Chase era, many decisions to be made that will either move us forward and continue the decline over past two years.

That was Saleh and Dennis Allen.

In fairness, Saleh and Allen feel more like guys who could still potentially get HC gigs. Eberflus, to me, not as much.

how is being in top 10 DC cheap plus the rest of the coaches i stated in top 10/15, so your argument is since Lou was in top 10 , Bengals are cheap makes no sense

The term "Cheap" sounds so cold and harsh, they prefer to be known as "cost conscious".  Wink

Worst thing about them hiring Eberflus is the first time we have to punt, we would be hearing the same old chorus of fire Zac Taylor and promote Eberflus from the same old fans who've wanted him gone since day 1.

Wrong...the Browns are worth over 4 billion bucks..money spent on coaches etc is chump change...but they can be foolishly stubborn

RE: DC/OL wish list - jj22 - 01-11-2025

So let’s live like it’s Eb since we don’t have nothing else to do this wildcard weekend. Some assistant coaches from the Bears he may be negotiating to bring with him. Can the Bengals be competitive and sign his preferred assistant coaches Even if it means letting go of some of the previous regime holdovers?

https://www.chicagobears.com/team/coaches/

Eric Washington - May be in consideration to coach the Dline. He has an interesting background outside of the Bills history which I witnessed the Bengals carve through first hand.

David Borgonzi - sounds legit I wouldn’t mind seeing him here.

Andre Curtis. I’m ok with keeping Burkes around but Kovacks hasn’t done enough to fight to keep around. He is a Lou’s guy through and through and I’d like to see someone else get the shot. I like what I read about Curtis.
