Sanu said he would not be back after the final game, before free agency ever began, because he knew we didn't want him for the #2 role, rather the #3. MLJ stated we offered pretty similar amount but he wanted to be a #1 WR. Outside of overpaying to franchise one of those guys and delaying the departure a year, both were gone because they wanted bigger roles.
