Not a multitude of hits, but a fair amount and he got up and he played every week after them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRK-9DQ-H3Y Only 2 I saw of here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwRH9BA_nwc Sadly, those are the only 2 highlight videos with different footage; EVERYTHING else is just repeats, simply because there aren't any highlights of him from '13 or '16, for whatever reason. That 2015 year was magical, watching thos eplays again... Chase Coffman and Jermain Gresham. Sure, Coffman was a bit of a bust, between the injuries and misuse, but Gresham they totally seemed to ignore his pass receiving ability and just tried to use like an extra tackle most of the time. And your point is what? You expect them to use Kroft strictly as a blocker? Gresham was used as an extra tight end because he couldn't hang on to the FOOTBALL!!!! He made a few contested catches, but didn't get hit hard in any of them, and certainly nowhere near as hard as Kroft did. In fact, in one, he barely gets hit when he catches it in the endzone and then looks like he stays on the ground injured. RE: Kroft vs Eifert (Blockers) - Truck_1_0_1_ - 10-19-2017 Brad, I don't know what the issue is, but everyone and their mother knows that Eifiert was killed in 2015 and he still played every week, until the concussion. He takes some nasty hits in the Seahawks game and got up constantly. Rams game too. Maybe everything was aligned and all was well in 2015, but he indeed was a man on a mission that year. Just think what kind of numbers he might have had with an offense run by Brady, Brees, or any of the others that maximize their weapons? Idk man, 18 scores in 21 games comes out to almost 14 TDs per season. Gronk has only sniffed that number once. I think Eifert was getting maximized in the red zone at the very least. I do think different coaches would've used Eifert more between the 20's. |
