It could be considered doing them a "favor" giving them more of a chance to catch on elsewhere; especially Still.

my guess at the first cut list...Peerman will be on the 53 and Ghee won't get cut until next round.

If Bengals cut / fire Still, that becomes National News right there.....and nothing coaches would be looking forward to. ...I wish we could keep all the D linemen in camp, but it ain't possible.

My guess is they won't cut Peerman or Still. They should cut Still but they won't, meaning a very good player will lose their spot to keep him. He's a great guy and a great Dad, but his work on the D Line has not improved. And if they do keep him, I get it. I understand why.
