RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - bfine32 - 01-19-2019 I like what I see and hear about Trey Pipkins, but one has to wonder why he was at such a small school RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Synric - 01-19-2019 (01-19-2019, 11:29 AM)bfine32 Wrote: I like what I see and hear about Trey Pipkins, but one has to wonder why he was at such a small school He is getting worked in the game. He's getting thrown off balance on almost every snap. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Au165 - 01-21-2019 Hollins looked really good. It's too bad he doesn't get a crack at the Senior Bowl as I'd really like to see him there against a little better competition. Rypien was the best QB on the field but watching Ta'amu roll left square up and throw with heat was awesome. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Synric - 01-21-2019 Senior Bowl week has started and there will be TV coverage Tuesday through Thursday 1pm to 6pm EST with a 1 hour recap at 8pm EST on the NFL Network. I'm excited! RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - bfine32 - 01-21-2019 Looking forward to seeing the North's QBs, Germaine Pratt and Dennis Daily this week in Senior Bowl practices. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Synric - 01-22-2019 Senior Bowl Weigh ins: http://www.optimumscouting.com/news/2019-senior-bowl-weigh-in-results Jalen Jelks DE 6'5 250 33 7/8 inch arms. Montez Sweat DE 6'6 252 35 5/8. Otaro Alaka ILB 6'3 240 33 3/8. Tyrus Howard OT 6'5 322 34 3/4. Ben Powers OG 6'3 7/8 310 34. Charles Omenihu DE 6'5 274 36 1/2. Caleb McGary OT 6'6 321 33 5/8. Donald Parham TE 6'8 243 36. There was a tweet during a live SB Nation thread that I can't find now that said "He looks like they built a WR in a lab then blew the magnification up to 150%". Trevon Wesco FB/TE 6'3 270 34 5/8...Shameless WVU plug lol. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - McC - 01-22-2019 (01-22-2019, 12:51 PM)Synric Wrote: Senior Bowl Weigh ins: That's a big dude. Small school star who could be a riser after this week. To put it in perspective, he caught 15 passes for 219 and 2 tds against Georgia...yea that Georgia. How is that even possible? RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Au165 - 01-22-2019 (01-22-2019, 04:26 PM)McC Wrote: The giant TE runs a 4.25? How is that even possible? Haha no the little slot guy from UMass (Andy Isabella). It was just a side note I was throwing in on guys to watch. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Au165 - 01-22-2019 Interesting to note that Gruden has Duke QB Daniel Jones on his roster he is coaching. I said over a month ago Jones is the QB I think Gruden goes after if they move on from Carr. He is an old school west coast QB that his completion percentage in college don't do his skills justice. I think he is a serious target for the Raiders in the 20's if he doesn't have too big of a pre draft climb. Please excuse my momentary lack of reading comprehension. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Au165 - 01-22-2019 Andre Dillard struggling early, looks like his climb into the 1st may stall out. Tytus Howard appears to be holding his own though, maybe a small school sleeper at OT. Edit: As I say that Sweat just murdered Howard. Sweat having himself an MVP day of practice here. He is looking like a top 10 pick. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Au165 - 01-22-2019 Dillard looking better in 11 on 11 than he did in 1 on 1 so far. Will Grier missed a wide open Deebo Samuels, who is the best WR on this team by far. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Au165 - 01-22-2019 Hunter Renfrow really does have elite route running from the slot (Edelman like). A mid round pick on this guy could really do wonders for Dalton I feel like. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Au165 - 01-22-2019 South QBs not impressive in day 1 to me. Wanted to see more from Grier to change my mind on some tape I started watching but haven’t seen it yet. Arm strength better than I thought but that was only plus from tape. Looks like a late Day 2 early day 3 pick to me. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - bfine32 - 01-22-2019 Glad to see Prat weigh in at a solid 240. Many former Safety that transition to LB are on the smallish size. McSorley measuring a legit 6' is also good. I see Russell Wilson in him. RE: Scouting the College All-Star Games - Synric - 01-22-2019 Ben Powers had a good day I wouldn't complain about two Oklahoma linemen in the top 3 picks. David Sills had a couple nice catches down the sidelines in 1on1s. |
