Probably because I read this: I suspect we may be hiring both. RE: B Callahan to be Bengals OC? - Big Boss - 01-22-2019 So we could be looking at this: Zac Taylor - HC Brian Callahan - OC Jack Del Rio - DC Bill Callahan - OL Alex Van Pelt - QB RE: B Callahan to be Bengals OC? - wolfkaosaun - 01-22-2019 (01-22-2019, 08:28 PM)Big Boss Wrote: So we could be looking at this: I would be extremely happy with this. Jack Del Rio is a fine coach. Bill has success. Van Pelt actually did very well with Dalton early on. Brian has worked with some good QBs and helped produce some of their best seasons. Zac Taylor has been an up and comer. RE: B Callahan to be Bengals OC? - BFritz21 - 01-22-2019 Personally, I'm loving this! 1. The team, as we already knew, is going in a new direction and bringing in fresh blood. 2. Being a first time coordinator (and relatively young (42?), I'm excited to see what kind of new ideas and energy he can bring to the offense, as well as open things up and utilize our talent. 3. Being a former quarterback's coach, I'm excited to see him utilize Dalton's strengths and mask his weaknesses. I think Dalton could have another year like 2015 when we should have won that playoff game. 4. If this really was Taylor's decision, I like it even more because he's shaping the team to perform as he wants it to. Another move that makes me happy for the 2019 season! |
