RE: Call up Senzel - fredtoast - 05-03-2019 Schebler's slump is ridiculous. He has never been a big star, but he has been pretty consistent over his three seasons with the Reds (.248/.323/.457) with a very decent .779 OPS. This year he is getting very close to 100 plate appearances with a .127 avg. RE: Call up Senzel - Circleville Guy - 05-03-2019 (05-03-2019, 12:05 PM)fredtoast Wrote: Schebler's slump is ridiculous. That is ridiculous but what a great situation for Senzel. He doesn’t have to press to be better than what Shebs has been. However, I must remember he has not seen MLB pitching yet. I’m not expecting him to be a huge power hitter, getting an early hit tonight should help him settle in quickly. Even if Senzel starts, Reds will need Schebler eventually. |
