If it takes 4 weeks he will only miss three more games. Isn't that still within the range they originally projected? Due to surgery, I was think more like 12-16 weeks. But Green apparently feels good...
RE: The boot is off - psychdoctor - 09-11-2019 This is why Green was selected captain I would think...
RE: The boot is off - ezekiel23 - 09-11-2019 This is great news, things are looking up for this team RE: The boot is off - bengalfan74 - 09-11-2019 Great news ! Like others have said a healthy AJ along with Eifert then add in Boyd, Ross, Mixon and Gio even Willis this offense could be scary. Yeah, well, he didn't have the talent he's been given here. Basically, it's a treadmill with the lower portion in a flexible chamber. The person is strapped into the flexible chamber, it's enclosed and inflated with air. By increasing the pressure in the chamber, it lightens the load of the person's weight on the legs, simulating less gravity. It allows you to jog or walk without having to bear 100% of your weight. At least that's my basic understanding. http://mentalfloss.com/article/57102/how-does-anti-gravity-treadmill-work Quote:AlterG's product looks like a bounce house for your lower body. To use it, you put on a pair of tight neoprene shorts. The shorts have a sort of skirt attached, and the skirt is lined with zipper teeth. You step onto the treadmill, inside a hole in its plastic casing, and zipper yourself in so that, from the waist down, you're encased in an airtight plastic bag. As you stand there, the treadmill measures your weight, and you tell it how intense you want your workout to be. The the machine uses "unweighting technology" to make you feel up to 80 percent lighter—so if you weigh 100 pounds, you could feel as light as 20 pounds on the treadmill. The terms "anti-gravity" and "unweighting technology" are enthusiastic descriptions for what the machine actually does, which is inflate the plastic bag around your lower body to lift you off the surface of the treadmill. I don't think you have a basic understanding at all. What you have, sir, is a complete understanding. RE: The boot is off - AussieBengal - 09-12-2019 Interestingly a player for the Rugby League team I follow was using a anti gravity treadmill last week returning from a broken Fibula. He actually made it onto the field to play last week, for the last game of the season and his career after breaking his leg 3 weeks earlier! One of the toughest players I have ever seen! RE: The boot is off - yellowxdiscipline - 09-12-2019 Boot off and already running. Good news indeed. RE: The boot is off - psychdoctor - 09-12-2019 more good news I guess...
