Mikey can't be fired though.....

Yeah, the defense may be playing a little better, but it's not much better. NE's less than usual offense dropped 27 points on this defense.

The offense not only isn't playing better, it's playing significantly worse. It's not just due to the Ogbuehi, Fisher and Price picks. You can add to that list the Ross pick, the Sample pick, poor game planning (other teams are know exactly how to defend it), zero half-time adjustment capability, free agent departures replaced by bargain bin specials.

Another year of Taylor isn't going to fix this. First, Taylor isn't capable of fixing it, he's made it worse. Second, Mike Brown is still around.

Folks hate to hear it, but even after picking Burrow, it's going to take a couple drafts to fix this team. We just don't have enough picks and with Dalton playing bad, we aren't going to be able to trade him, and with Green injured and not playing in years it seems, no one is trading for him, which means we won't pick up any picks since they screwed up the trade deadline and didn't have any foresight into the worth of Dalton/Green this offseason.

Yea I wish we could go QB, WR, OT early. But we are completely ignoring the Defense yet again with that strategy.

Kirkpatrick- 1st round
Dennard - 1st round
WJ3 - 1st round
Dunlap - 2nd round
Bates - 2nd round

This narrative that we’ve ignored the defensive side of the ball is just simply not true.
