It seems like to allow distancing capacity would have to be something be somewhere below 30,000.  Interesting that they haven't mentioned that may not be enough seats for all season ticket holders.

I went ahead and forfeited my seats for the 2020 season, so that's one less STH you'll have to worry about taking up space.  It wasn't a difficult decision given both me and the wife have underlying health issues and every game I attend would be like playing Russian Roulette for the two of us.  Just cant justify that.  Hope to be back in 2021 and enjoy this season from the couch.  Maybe I can get some sympathy points toward a new TV out of it.

Oh and as far as comparing man caves.  My man cave is the guest bathroom I use to take a dump when my girlfriend is over instead of the one attached to my bedroom.   I've got several old magazines and some junk mail I occasionally read.  haha

I know you were joking and I chuckled. I just wanted to clarify that my house is not that big. LOL. Although I wouldnt mind having a few bottles of Ranch on my front yard. Wait... Yes I would. I would be invaded by vegetarians.

Gotta watch out for those vegetarians. Whatever

All Things Considered

Wink

I am deleting this post because I was too clever by half.

I love the show "All Things Considered" on NPR (National Public Radio)

In my head I transposed PBS (Public Broadcasting System) with NPR, so I made a joke.  That explains the winky.

Just when I had decided that my little witticism would go over the heads of the hoi polloi around here I realized I was a dumbass.

I can't blame you under the circumstances.  I may yet join you on the couch for the season.  I'm just really hoping that the arrangements will be acceptable and things settle down a bit.  I'd really like to be in the stands for Joe Burrow's debut.

I just wish the Bengals would work with Ticketmaster and let ticket holders pick from available seats by seniority.  I'd grab a seat in the top row.  I doubt that anyone with COVID is going to make it up there. Big Grin

I had a friend who was from Philly and a big Eagles fan.

Based a sample size of one I think they should make that rule permanent.

Ehhem...

It is, "Mortal Kombat." :)

And MK2 will definitely be one of the cabs I will purchase in the next few years, once I upgrade my home to a bigger one; that, South Park Pinball and perhaps Final Fight, but we'll see.

Too many fans at PBS will endanger the brave Frontline workers.

You're welcome on the couch provided one or both of us is wearing a hazmat suit Smirk

I used to have seats in the upper deck in the first row.  So, one time a buddy and I arrived at the game early and decided to see what the view was like from the very tip top row of the stadium.  Felt like I was trying to summit K2. So, yeah, you'll have it all to yourself.

RE: PBS Guidelines for fans attendance - Sled21 - 07-15-2020

I don't know which lots the Bengals own or control, but in the one's they do it will be pretty easy for them to prohibit tailgating. If they see someone setting up a grill, "cornhole" game (a game sort of like horseshoes, but for girly men) or setting out coolers, they will simple ask you to put all that away and head into the stadium, or they will cancel your ticket and have CPD escort you off the property. It's really pretty simple for them. Now the lots they do not own or control are someone else's problem.
