When it mattered the most the Bengals line crumbled and allowed Jones to just absolutely take control. When it mattered most for KC they held up and allowed enough time to make plays for a win.

What were you watching?  When it mattered most, Mahomes was running for his life on a bum ankle and two of KC's OL were blatantly holding (uncalled, of course).

Everything needs to be looked at as potential areas for improvement this off-season, including OL.  However, proclaiming we should follow KC's model after they finally got a W is very much turning the exception into the rule.  Can we wait until they at least hit .500 against us before making such proclamations?

Actually, KC only paid one player on their line this season - Brown on the tag.

Thuney was only an 8M cap hit and if they dont resign Brown, Thuney will be the only guy that is paid this coming season.

Humphrey and Smith cost 1M each.  Niang taking Wylie's spot is less than 1M.

They will draft a tackle high and be fine again.

We passed on Humphrey for Carmen.

We passed on Smith 6 times...

Our only 2 serviceable oline draftees in over a decade have been Jonah and Volson, neither of which are better than average today.
