He just doesn't seem to excel at this and seems hesitant coming up to the line of scrimmage. I don't know why we insist on continuing with this. The blocking on that play was absolutely atrocious. Go back and watch each individual guy. Bad, bad, bad. Guys falling down. Guys running into teammates. Baaaaaaad. I watched it numerous times just to watch how bad Evans got destroyed in his attempt to lead block lol and Volson looking for night crawlers lol RE: This play... - Marlon23 - 09-13-2023 (09-12-2023, 02:02 PM)TheLeonardLeap Wrote: Chase has 13 career rushes for 31 yards (2.4 YPC) and 0 TDs (2 first downs). There is one play where he is acting like he is dribbling a basketball that was annoying... but the line still could not anticipate his next move. RE: This play... - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 09-13-2023 I would like to see this go to the other guy as a distraction. It is the truth that everyone knows the ball is going to the most dangerous player. Nice thread Weezy. RE: This play... - WeezyBengal - 09-18-2023 So they ended up doing exactly what I said against the Ravens. It was a nice wrinkle with the same formation, yet they gave it to Mixon going the opposite direction for 30 plus yards. RE: This play... - Wyche'sWarrior - 09-18-2023 Playcalling is trash....lol. RE: This play... - WeezyBengal - 09-19-2023 I guess Ill make this thread an on going thing... This play caught my eye from Sunday. It was Chase Brown's only run of the game, which is peculiar in itself. The play design was some motion with Boyd going opposite direction than the hand off to Brown. I gurantee you we see a wrinkle next week or sometime soon where its Brown on the field and instead of giving it to him, they hand it to Boyd going opposite direction instead. The back side was WIDE open. I think Chase Brown ran this for the reason that he doesn't get many carries so that the defense is looking for this exact play when he's actually on the field. <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
