So all the run plays were on the back of the play sheet. Whoops. For sure, 8 runs is just terrible even if it isn't working. You could see on some running plays where it was getting close, where Jonah or Volson just missed some blocks by a touch, but if they started to hit on those blocks the running game very well could of looked much better. You don't give up on the running game like that. Eventually you will get a big run and it will make the numbers look ten times better than 2 yards per carry lol RE: Who will step up? - bengalfan74 - 11-28-2023 (11-28-2023, 02:39 PM)Nate (formerly eliminate08) Wrote: For sure, 8 runs is just terrible even if it isn't working. Our run blocking is suspect at best against most every opposing Dline. But Pissburgh has shown to be weak against the run, they're set up for pass rush. So Zac says "lets just keep doing what we do and put our backup (practice squad) QB on an Island and let him win it for us. No attempt to scheme and gameplan something we can do which involves running the ball, motion, the screen game, dink and dunk. 5 step drop slow developing, reading the defense type plays that Browning can't handle. Thanks Zac Oh well lets tank. |
