My entire lifetime waiting for them to take the next step and it never seems to come. Being knocked off in a group with Panama and Bolivia at home is a major underachievment. Pretty sure a player in a Copa match just pulled a knife and the ref said "play on" This is called on pitch 2nd amendment ! RE: Soccer Heaven - CKwi88 - 07-02-2024 Good lord. My sympathies Hollo, but what a game. Not only in the quality of play but also of the referees, fields, VAR, really just top down. Yeah, the ref was garbage but USA did not deserve the game. The USA has a big budget; they need a world-class coach. At least my Dutch are still alive in Euros. RE: Soccer Heaven - hollodero - 07-02-2024 (07-02-2024, 05:57 PM)CKwi88 Wrote: Good lord. RE: Soccer Heaven - BengalsLUFC - 07-02-2024 Bielsa my footballing god so much so that I have a tattoo of him on my leg after he won the league with Leeds a couple of years ago eliminating Adams and that human blimp Mckennie did make me chuckle sorry guys. I’m actually going to an FC Cincinnati game in October when I’m over got tickets in the Bailey will be interesting to see how the atmosphere differs from an English game, looking forward to it just hope you guys don’t sign the aforementioned blimp the worst footballer I have ever seen. I get a top-flight manager not wanting to come to a C-tier team like the US, but surely USSF could throw enough money around to get better than Gregg freaking Berhalter no? RE: Soccer Heaven - Arturo Bandini - 07-05-2024 Another boring win for us ... Deschamps style. RE: Soccer Heaven - StoneTheCrow - 07-06-2024 Good couple of games today. Tense moments in both matches and some clutch defensive plays from the Dutch in the final few moments there. RE: Soccer Heaven - bfine32 - 07-06-2024 Did IKEA buy a bunch of Countries in Europe: Turkey is now Tur-kea Czech Repbublic is now Czech-kea Does Hollo now live in Aust-kea? Arturo in Fran-Kea RE: Soccer Heaven - BengalsLUFC - 07-07-2024 We are god awful considering the talent Bellingham, Foden, Saka and Kane and are creating nothing. Southgate is seen as a ***** football terrorist over here and people are counting the days until he’s fired but somehow we keep winning. Also Bielsa’s Uruguay have just beaten Brazil on pens with 10 men. Not a bad day. In the 20 years since I first lived in Brazil I have never seen them field a team this bad. At least Uruguay Colombia will make for a better semifinal. RE: Soccer Heaven - Arturo Bandini - 07-09-2024 Lost against a more deserving team. Congrats Spain. I definitely questioned Southgate myself with perhaps one of the most talented English clubs ever. But they are in the final somehow and if they can put a solid plan of attack in place while countering Spain's attack, they very well could win. It should be a good game, can't wait for it. What hurt France the most, IMO, is they just couldn't score. Mbappe had what, 1 goal the entire Euros? And rest of the team couldn't score either, only 1 other goal I think? That's just terrible for the players they have. RE: Soccer Heaven - Arturo Bandini - 07-13-2024 (07-13-2024, 01:22 PM)Millhouse Wrote: Yeah Spain was definitely the more deserving team. RE: Soccer Heaven - BengalsLUFC - 07-14-2024 The country has lost the plot today absolutely nobody will be in work tomorrow if we win  RE: Soccer Heaven - Arturo Bandini - 07-14-2024 And for people who don't know what it is, winning a World Cup or a Euro is like every town and village of your country winning the SuperBowl the same day. It's pure insanity. RE: Soccer Heaven - Arturo Bandini - 07-14-2024 Best team of the tournament won. Congrats Spain. It's not going home again. RE: Soccer Heaven - BengalsLUFC - 07-14-2024 Better team won Congratulations donkey murderers |
