Zac goes through training camp and preseason like this is a veteran team with a long history of success that's played in the same system for years.
We're not that. We had 1-2 good years. Injuries derailed some other seasons.

Week 1 ZT is like playoff Marvin...no matter where we are or who we play or if we played up to the wire to get in or rested our starters in the final week, we show up flat and blow it and it's just like "Well, yeah."

I'm with you, Sled. There've been injuries, sure, but the only constant in our slow starts has been the lack of playing time in the preseason. We need to due traditional playing times in preseason, IMO. Game 1, starters play a series; Game 2, starters play a full quarter; Game 3, starters play the entire 1st half.

Let me add that I will accept the slow starts if we are GUARANTEED to be in the AFCCG the same season as the slow start. And, well, you all know how that goes.

Zac has problems with slow starts, but his teams finish strong. Marvin's teams fell apart at playoff time. I'll still take Zac.
