Trent Brown is mediocre even before he got hurt and for Mims to be playing better than him as a rookie means the ceiling is ridiculously high.

Plus Cappa has been terrible this year to the left of him which sure hasn't helped his transition. I am very happy with Mims and was
extremely high on him before we drafted him. He will only get better and better especially with a good RG next to him and especially
a new good OL coach.

That would be November 2021.
Bengals were 6-4 about this time 3 years ago.
We know how they finished out that season and performed the year after.

I don't think anyone was serious about moving on from coaches until this year.
Heck, last year they defied the odds and pulled out a winning record with Jake friggin Browning going 4-3 and a 98.4 QB Rating.

This year we're just seeing how much they have struggled replacing Bates, Awuzie, and Reader between the draft and FA.
Doesn't help the guys they brought in at safety were at a bargain.
And they severely overpaid Rankins and put him in a role he was not equipped for.

I thought CTB was better than he has shown this year, but maybe he's really more of a CB2 and needs a strong CB1 opposite him so he can take the weaker receiver(s) on the opposing team.

He should have a Superbowl with the talent he has.  I've never liked him, and his play calling sucks, always has.  We've won, DESPITE Taylor.

I’d take the above over a Super Bowl every year. So awesome!

Well then you're in the right place man.  Settling for mediocracy is always fun, huh?  Lol

What I find hilarious is how many teams are anointed as "Super Bowl Contenders" on the Monday talk shows right after barely squeaking past the 4-8 Bengals.

Go ahead and look back in the YouTube video logs of all of these talk shows . . . Are The Chargers Legitimate Super Bowl Contenders?  . . . followed shortly by The Bengals Are Wasting Joe Burrow's Great Season
