Apple was the friend picking a fight forcing everyone else to back him up. And the secondary did. He never took a clear loss against any of those teams he gave bulletin board material to. That’s why opposing teams fans hated him. He could have sealed the AFCC game on the first play in overtime when he dropped an easy pick six (that the desperate for a KC win announcers tried they best to jinx!).
Is the “hill” really a thing to get over? Why do some teams be forever stuck. No matter the talent.
