Some seem pessimistic of Golden's approach of having all DBs practice all of the roles, but not me. If he wants to instill a new scheme than they ran before, they all must fully understand what each component of the scheme is doing, while they're doing their specific role. By having all of the cross training, communications should be flowing at an all time high, rather than all of the static interference they were experiencing under Anarumo's overly complicated verbiage. RE: Al Golden demanding versatility from DBs - CottonHill - 05-21-2025 Good, it wouldn’t shock me to find out a few of the guys were playing out of position. RE: Al Golden demanding versatility from DBs - ochocincos - 05-21-2025 I'd love to see about potentially trying CTB at FS actually. He played both safety and CB in college. 2026 DB potential starters if CTB re-signs? Hill, Turner, and Newton at CB CTB and Battle at SAF RE: Al Golden demanding versatility from DBs - Joelist - 05-22-2025 (05-21-2025, 06:26 PM)SunsetBengal Wrote: Some seem pessimistic of Golden's approach of having all DBs practice all of the roles, but not me. Of course. RE: Al Golden demanding versatility from DBs - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 05-22-2025 (05-21-2025, 11:13 PM)ochocincos Wrote: I'd love to see about potentially trying CTB at FS actually. Agree Ochocincos. CTB seems to fit FS perfectly. Might have the answer on the team already. His weaknesses seem to be the double moves and being isolated on the boundary. CTB has great range, athleticism and likes to hit. Forgot he actually played Safety at Nebraska. |
