RE: Could Hill have been paid off? - Johnny Cupcakes - 01-11-2016 Could he have been? Yes. It's also possible that he was hiding a hamster in his butt and it bit him while he was being tackled, making him lose focus on holding the ball. I doubt either of those scenarios have anything to them though.... RE: Could Hill have been paid off? - BengalsRocker - 01-11-2016 I usually I don't buy into conspiracy theories. ![]() But when I do it's "Vanderjact missed that FG on purpose against the Steelers" RE: Could Hill have been paid off? - Bengalzona - 01-12-2016 (01-11-2016, 05:36 PM)BeepBeepWoo Wrote: The original premise is that the mob did it, which means gambling. Vegas is most gambling and is the gambling center with enough money to pay people off... and that uses a point spread. If your argument is instead that the league is "fixed" then you should just stop posting or caring because it isn't a sport. The mob was just an example. Maybe someone like the Rooneys would payoff a player to advance their team. Maybe even a group of wealthy fans, while getting their money back by betting on the outcome. I realize that all of this a tinfoil hat material. But that is sort of the point of the thread. Sometimes it is good to get crap out of your system just by letting your imagination roam. Sometimes it is good to talk over a crazy idea just to see how crazy it actually is. Remember the fumble slide? Didn't think so. RE: Could Hill have been paid off? - Fresno B - 01-12-2016 I'm so tired of reading about Burfict and Jones but not about Hill its disgusting.
