The game changed substantially while Lewis was playing.

From the conversation a person that didn't know any better would more than likely assume this, so point taken. But would you not agree that the game has changed quite a bit just in the last few seasons alone? To me the game is much different than it was when Ray was in his heyday.

And he made hits like Burficts and stood over them and taunted.  The only thing he did not do was the twisting of extremities in the pile and tickling the family jewels - both of which he should drop.

He did nothing wrong in this game but plead his case.  That's one thing the tough guys of the past did not do.  They might throw up their hands, but they never whined.

Stop the whining and stay away from pile twisting and family jewels and he's pure gold.

Almost won the game single handedly.

Stop after whistle fouls, like kneeing Ben's shoulder, and knucklehead stuff like running into the tunnel.

According to Guenther, he's not stupid, but extremely intelligent. Hopefully, this suspension will be his wake up call.

No they would not.  they would adjust and still be great players in today's game.

And most of these guys got their reputation from hard legal hits, not twisting players ankles in a pile up.  Mike Singletary was a high class guy and would nevger have done anything like that.

And none of them would have ran off the field and down the tunnel before the game was over.  They acted like grown men, not little boys.
