Right.  Cuz all three of those are the same.

It is called a analogy.

The same logic applies to both arguments.  People break rules that hurt other people but it is okay just because "it happens"

Understand now?

When did that happen on the field?

Go look up the definition of "analogy".

There is a gif floating around out there of a Steeler shoving his thumb up an opposing players butt, but that's funny...right?

Is every crime lumped together?  I think not.  Are there degrees of severity?  I believe

I don't condone ankle twisting.  But it doesn't deserve to be compared to rape and murder, extremely weak analogy or not, any more than shop lifting does.  You say some of the goofiest things.

Why the hell do so many people around here derail threads by attacking me instead of just commenting on the topic.

Do you think it is okay to ignore ankle twisting just because "it happens"?  Apparently not.  But even though you agree with me you attack me and ignore Lucy's ridiculous claim.

Can we get back to talking football instead of insulting me.

Gee why would people attack the insulting putz who attacks everybody?  Are you a Steeler?  You know, the way you can dish it out but not take?  You said a stupid thing and I called you on it.

You don't like it?  Stop doing it.

I never said anything stupid.  You did.  You do not know what the term "analogy" means.

Comparing twisting an ankle to murder?  That's not stupid at all.

I know exactly what it means.  I also know what a crappy one looks like, i.e. that pathetic attempt of yours.

Like I said, you don't want to be insulted, stop insulting.  You ever hear of the Golden Rule?

You like links so much, here's one for you--

He said AJM played good.

But what does he know.

I hope AJM gets traded and starts somewhere for his sake and yours.

Gonna be hard watching the Bengals with Dalton as the starter and your boy on the bench the next few years.

AJM put us into position to win, which is good enough for me. Just wish Jeremy would have sealed it.

Some of these people just dont get it.

What don't I get? That I think ankle twisting basically amounts to the same stuff as what happens in a pile? It's not a big deal. I also think they should allow hits with the shoulder. Only leading with the helmet should be called and everything should be reviewable.
