Paying pacman $7 and Iloka $6, we still have $26 million.

I wouldn't have signed both sanu and Marvin, but I don't by that the bengals couldn't have afford to sign jones for $8, Vinnie Rey for $4, Winston for $1.

That leaves $13 left.

Eifert has a reasonable 5th year option.
Zeitler could be extended this year and drop his cap hit.

And salary cap is probably still going up in upcoming years.

Marvin wanted a more featured role, so he left.
But the bengals have enough reserve to have signed Marvin AND signed these other guys (bengals ufa).

The Bengals offered MLJ 8 mil a year...

I hope we extend Zeitler and Gio this year myself.

Eifert we can wait on and Kirkpatrick right now is not worth it IMO.

Bengals don't have just $15 million like Hobs claimed, but they don't really have $38 million either.  I saw a very balanced reasonable analysis that concluded the Bengal had about $28 million to spend.  They have already spent well over the $15 millions and I guarantee they are not close to finished.  They will be small contracts but they will be spending a few million more.

That should still leave a few million to get an extension done before the season starts.  In fact we could actually increase our cap space by giving Zeitler a long term deal that would not result in an $8+ million hit this year.
