We can't yet determine who will claim the job. Hopkins got some reps there as well.. Is something similar happening at RG? or is it miller with the 1s RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - I_C_DeadPeople - 08-07-2019 (08-06-2019, 07:42 PM)HarleyDog Wrote: According to AJ, they weren’t allowed to show up the defense in practice under Marvin. I kinda got that backwards on the first post. But if your not challenging each other, how do you improve? Who says improvement was the goal? I haven't heard anything about competition at RG. Heard all Miller so far. I like the athleticism Jordan showed and it led to a nice little gain for Traveon. (08-06-2019, 09:23 PM)NKURyan Wrote: I'm intrigued by Jordan at LG for a few reasons. All great points, just want the best players to start, chemistry is huge. Defense is not allowed to hit the QB or hit anyone low in practice. Since the offense is given a big advantage in practice ai could see how the defense might get upset if the offense started talking smack or trying to show up the defense. It would be like a great tennis player agreeing to play left handed against you and then you talking smack if you won. RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - TopSix - 08-07-2019 I would like to see the Bengals sign OT Ryan Schraeder. When they drafted him, wasn't there talk of him not playing at all this year? RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - Murdock2420 - 08-07-2019 (08-07-2019, 05:27 PM)McC Wrote: Wow. When they drafted him, wasn't there talk of him not playing at all this year? Yes there was and that makes the RB position kinda interesting now. Be a pretty intense camp battle I would think. Do the Bengals keep all 4 RB on 53 man roster and use Uzi as H-Back? Not sure they'd want to enter the season without Driskel or risk having Ryan Finley grabbed off the practice squad, but if Andy goes down they're done regardless so I'd roll the dice. |
