You joke, but the Bengals 3rd string QB in 2020 ended up starting 5 games after being called up from the PS and is now the 2nd string QB in 2021.

That was the 2nd string QB. Allen was on the PS as the team's #3 QB when Burrow got hurt.
Finley came into the DC game and went 3-10, 30 yards, 0 TD/1 INT (a cool 0.0 QB Rating) and then they signed Allen from the PS to the roster.

I thought the only reason Allen didn't play that game was because he was hurt.. He played against Washington and the giants before the stealer game

Nope, that was Finley that played against DC and put up a 0.0 QB Rating, so they signed Allen from the PS and started him the next week. Allen was 100% the 3rd string QB while Burrow was healthy.
