The Killer B's are being killed by the D(And the killer E ain't helping either).  Maybe they turned it around this past Sunday.  Here's hoping not.

Here is an article about Tomlin calling at least some of the plays last year against the Jaguars.

Things I don't know which limit my ability to talk about this--

Wasn't Tomlin a pretty good coordinator in his day?  Has he made the D better or worse with his meddling?

Was Butler ever any good?  Should he put it back in Butler's hands, leave him alone or fire him?

Well the problem was Tomlin had the NFL's eighth-best overall defense with the Vikings, but finished as the top-ranked defense against the run and the worst-ranked defense against the pass. That's the problem they have now as well. When Keith Butler took over, the Steelers sacks and turnovers both increased while points allowed decreased. I personally like Keith. I don't like Tomlin calling any defensive plays though.

Gotcha.  Maybe a new HC is what you need.

Yes, he likes to let the players run wild and is trying to hard to be their buddy. People will say well he never had a losing record as a head coach of the Steelers. Yes that's true but with the amount of talent on this team, he should always e in the AFC Championship. He's letting prima donnasrun wild. Bill Belichick does a lot more with less talent.

So what you're saying is, he's the Jon Calipari of the NFL......I'd agree.

In that case, the Steelers should give him ten more years to get it right.
