Anarumo has his guys to fit his system, who have bought it, and now are a top 10 unit. Good for him....
Bengals defense has definitely improved, so Anarumo definitely deserves credit for bringing in the right guys.
However, it's worth pointing out that the Bengals have the 3rd highest cap amount going toward defense in the entire NFL this year ($88.6 mill).
The only teams paying more for defense are KC and BUF.
So they should be expected to perform close to the Top 10 given all the high-priced FAs they've signed.
Meanwhile, the Bengals' offense is 20th most spent cap at $73.7 mill.

How do you know he wasn't interested? How do you know the Bengals didn't low ball him?
