Even a blowout may not do it. According to Mathieu the Chiefs are still the best team but the best team doesn’t always win….even when the get two chances against the same team in 4 weeks including in the AFCC Game lol

I will give Florio a little bit of credit. He had Golic on and they both said that it was the Bengals' halftime adjustments on defense that shut the Chiefs down, not an implosion by Mahomes. He reported that the Bengals had planned to switch to man and dropping 8 at the half to throw KC off and Reid and Bienemy had no answer for it. So, he is one of the few national pundits giving credit to the Bengals' defense instead of running with the popular "Chiefs self-destructive" story.
