RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - TheCincinnatiKid - 01-16-2023 Logan Wilson for me. We simply don't win that game without the forced fumble. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - pally - 01-16-2023 I was watching the fumble play again, we have to give Germain Pratt some credit for that play. He got the actual stop of Huntley. He was holding him up with his hands stopping Huntley from pushing his out and scoring and putting them in the perfect position for Logan to get the punch out. The play would not have happened without him. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - SHRacerX - 01-16-2023 (01-16-2023, 01:34 AM)bfine32 Wrote: The boys hung in there and beat a tough division foe. Ugly win>Pretty loss. Who you got for the game ball: I went with Chase. He was the offense yesterday, and they had to adapt to the backup playing LT and Sharping having a tough night. Silver lining: I thought Adeniji played his best game as a pro. Hubbard's play was incredible, but I think it was Bates that made it happen, and honorable mention to ADG who got the big pick in the first quarter and was a demon on special teams. EDIT: I know now it was Wilson, having re-watched, and that Pratt was also a key on that play. Like RFaulk said, that ball gets cut in to thirds at least on that big play, with Pratt, Wilson, and Hubbard all getting a piece. More importantly, where does that play rank in all time Bengals plays? That may be #1. To me, it is #2 in playoff history as the Bates to Bell INT against mush mouth in the AFC Title game last year basically won the game and sent the Bengals to the Super Bowl. It sure was an incredible play, though. But seeing that ball come loose and then Hubbard go streaking the other way and such a beautiful sight. I was yelling like a madman. So I voted Hubbard for the game ball. Me too, for once I probably woke my neighbors by screaming my head off that late when their kids wake me every Sat AM at 7am by SCREAMING in the Cul-de-sac while playing. Felt good to even the scoreboard just a bit. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - SHRacerX - 01-16-2023 (01-16-2023, 01:46 AM)BengalsLUFC Wrote: Hubbard,Logan,ADG and Hilton. Hilton didn't get many opportunities with the Ravens almost always in 12 personnel, but dude sure made plays when given the opportunity. Pound for pound, he is the toughest guy on that team. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - TecmoBengals - 01-16-2023 Logan and Hubbard are both deserving but I went Hubbard since he had to truck it 98 yards and got the score. He was damn near caught at the goal line and I think it was Shannon Sharpe damn near got him. That was one amazing win/play. I won't forget Logan/Sam's game-turning TD any time soon. Maybe this can be the springboard to get them back to the big game and win it this time. I think they are a more balanced team that any other in the AFC. Hope to hell Carman can hold up. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - Mike M (the other one) - 01-16-2023 (01-16-2023, 01:55 AM)Brownshoe Wrote: Burrow for me. Higgins dropped a few huge passes. Burrow made some big audibles. He also was very very accurate. I feel like we didn't have very many possessions because the defense couldn't stop the run at all. I went with Hubbard cause it was an amazing late game changing play. But, Burrow was my second choice. I noted before the game, that JB was going to have to dink 'n' dunk his way down the field and that Mixon/Hurst/Boyd would be key players and needed to protect the ball as well. His 71% completion % was spot on. It was a typical tough divisional game and we got out with the W. That's all that matters in the playoffs. Buffalo SHOULD be a more offensive based game, but we still need to win the Turnover battle. Allen likes giving away free points so we need to take them when he *coughs* it up. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - Speedy Thomas - 01-16-2023 What, no love for Eric "The Forgotten Man" Carman for at least getting in the way of their pass rush? My heart was a lump of lead when I saw him join the huddle. PFF grades might tell a different story, but being thrown out there at left tackle (a position he hadn't played since college) in a playoff game could have been disastrous. From what I saw he didn't crap the bed and get Joe killed, which was the best outcome we could have hoped for. Many heroes on defense but I had to go with Sam I Am. Yeah, he wasn't exactly Usain Bolt, but think about it, he is probably the only DL who could have taken it all the way. Play happened right in front of me and I missed the punch out, too busy pounding on the seat in front of me. I looked up and there was 94 heading the other way. Sam the Sham, with the Pharaohs providing the escort. Was it the best play in Bengal history? Yes. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - CarolinaBengalFanGuy - 01-16-2023 Got to give it to Sam if for nothing but the game changing fumble touchdown. Drue Chrisman needs his due for a fantastic punting game in my opinion. Joe Burrow being effective despite missing a million linemen. Wildcard Game Game Ball - ah5 - 01-16-2023 Pratt, he is the one that stood Huntley up to start the chain of events and a clutch pd in the 4th. Him and Pratt caused the fumble and knocked it to Sam. Maybe the greatest Defensive play I have ever seen. RE: Wildcard Game Game Ball - pally - 01-16-2023 Zac agreed with many posters...his game ball went to the defensive unit

Right behind the doctor at Sheridan Memorial Hospital who removed my wife's appendix, then gave her enough pain killers that we were back on the road to the West Coast the next day. WIthout slapping that ball, Hubbard would not even be mentioned in this play. Glad it landed in his hands and he took off like a rocket, it was beautiful watching him run all those yards for a TD.
