But on several plays it just looked like Carman just didn't want to be there. Phoning it in. Perhaps he's a bit ticked he's not in with the 1's?? If true that is a weak mindset and the attitude of a poor sportsman. Yes sir Sunset. Either way it isn't a good sign for Carman. Yet here you are. The irony RE: When Did Cordell Volson Become hot shit? - TecmoBengals - 08-14-2023 Volson is a starter and starters didn't start. Zac treated him as such and didn't give him the hot shit treatment. RE: When Did Cordell Volson Become hot shit? - casear2727 - 08-14-2023 (08-13-2023, 07:39 PM)NotBigzo Wrote: Yet here you are. When did he get elevated to "hot shit" status? You'd think he'd need the reps with the rest of them. 21/22 of our starters are "hot shit" RE: When Did Cordell Volson Become hot shit? - SunsetBengal - 08-22-2023 (08-12-2023, 01:04 AM)NotBigzo Wrote: I noticed he didn't play any preseason snaps. He just plays the left side of the line better. He didn't play a single snap at LG EDIT* actually, to say he didn't play a single snap isn't true: I think maybe the NYJ game he filled in for a few, but he played RG all year. RE: When Did Cordell Volson Become hot shit? - Soonerpeace - 08-22-2023 IMO the OL, Pollack, and really the organization doesn’t have any excuses if the OL isn’t at minimum avg. Its time they got it fixed. Quote:The Cincinnati Bengals' run game struggled for most of last season, especially early in the year. Their success rate on running plays and point per attempt was in the bottom four of the league through the first five weeks. RE: When Did Cordell Volson Become hot shit? - Soonerpeace - 08-25-2023 The staff thinks for the first time in a long time with Orlando and Volson on the left side their unmistakable size will help in short yardage. I think you will see less QB sneaks. I also think Mixon won’t come out on third down much. If it’s third and long yes. Any player can put on mass, even if most/all muscle, and still not make a huge difference. Since we haven't seen him in a game yet, I'm trying to trust the reports that he's a different animal now, but we've been fooled before... |
