McDermott brought a blitz on over 30% over the defensive snaps he was trying to attack the edges of the interior gaps with extra guys and T/E games to move Burrow off his spot and ruin the timing. They actually did a good job sorting out the chaos in front of them. Yep. The lost in a lot of plays or were even (0 or -1), but did not lose big on hardly any (-2), I would guess. That is my guess. Burrow only got sacked once, and that was a 3rd down play where he held onto it trying to convert (the drive where we had the penalty on the FG and had to punt). RE: PFF Grades vs Bills - pally - 11-09-2023 I think they just wanted to give Smith a fair chance to develop a relationship with Joe. Joe missed all of training camp and then Irv missed several weeks during the season so Tanner ended up with more actual practice time with Joe. |
