HOw about not being DEAD Fn last in rush attempts? Maybe try to wear down a defense so you can ice the game with running the ball? If the Rams would let Brown go for a 6th round pick, that would be a small price to pay for a big man to clog the interior. RE: Outside Help - Luvnit2 - 09-17-2024 Any word if Bengals have any DT's in town to work out today? Guy is out there, but have no idea how fit he is or if he has still has the will to play again. Our WR group currently doesn’t support that. Hopefully tee coming back can change things. RE: Outside Help - reuben.ahmed - 09-17-2024 We have to run the ball to win a ring IMO. You have to play to the other team's weaknesses. We can't be run or pass first anything, at this point I think Joe better realize that. RE: Outside Help - Joelist - 09-17-2024 I hope the plan is to sign a vet DT (Lawrence Guy), elevate Rogers from PS, activate Cedric Johnson and keep up with Hubbard sometimes inside as he looked pretty good there. Fortunately this only a couple of weeks to make it to getting Jackson back and Jenkins likely as well. Burrow is still not dropping dimes consistently. Yoshi is now under 50% catch rate, with burrow playing the best he ever has. This WR room was an obvious red flag in the offseason, was obvious after games 1-3 and still obvious. We don’t have a single wide receiver, outside of Chase and Higgins, that burrow/taylor trusts to get a tough 3-5 yards. They need a WR2 in the worst way when Tee goes. SO many needs this team has. I'd argue you could go either CB or WR in round 1. They desperately need both. They will have to make some tough decisions on cuts this off-season as well. Moss, Cappa, Hubbard, Rankins, Stone are all on the chopping block for me. That frees up roughly 36 MILLION (YES, THAT MUCH). Go out and get yourself a respectable guard, WR2, and RB2. This offense needs, in addition to a WR2, an above average slot guy and a RB1. RE: Outside Help - THE PISTONS - 11-08-2024 (11-08-2024, 12:34 PM)WeezyBengal Wrote: Yoshi is 100% NOT it. At this point, he will be just slightly less unproven than he was coming into this year. I’m not seeing much, if any, maturation from him. If we are being honest with ourselves, he is a WR6/7 or more likely, practice squad worthy. |
