With a Burrow restructure and a few obvious cuts, we have over $100 mil in cap space. And no one who needs a big payday this offseason. I can understand this for sure especially after Joe so adamantly wanting Tee back. He had elite RAS scores etc. He's got way more problems than just being a body catcher. He's currently 95th out of 95 qualifying WR's in PFF's WR rankings and has the third lowest catch % on the team. I'm not saying cut the guy. He has great athletic traits and potentially develop more, but he's not close to being a WR2. Just has a bad feel for the position, like the times he runs flat out through a soft spot on the zone instead of of gearing down, settling in, and creating an easy throw for Burrow. Still a good back half of the roster option and ST's guy. Just not a WR2 or even a decent WR 3. You're going to tell your probable WR triple-crown winner and sack leader to just stuff themselves? Uh, JaMarr Chase definitely needs a big payday this offseason, and I'd say that Hendrickson has definitely outplayed his contract and deserves a bump. |
