They can sleep in one of the suites at the stadium they should have a recliner in them.

Most, if not all of these guys went on making money after playing, either in broadcasting, business or endorsements.

The mindset of some people that NFL players need to have everything provided to them from the minute they sign until they go to the grave is ridiculous. When you invite someone to something, do you pay for their lodging? This just another nothing burger to attack the Front Office. 

Defending cheap billionaires who won the genetic lottery yet squandered starting on 3rd base is a lonely hill to die on, but go ahead…

I cannot reason with people who don’t understand why this is ridiculous and embarrassing.

And they didn’t even invite the best RB in the history of the franchise - Corey Dillon.

I saw that too - why didn’t they invite Dillon? Are they still holding grudges even after that was supposedly water under the bridge?

Players in the ROH should have an open invitation to attend the ROH induction game every season.

In the meantime, the owner of the Bills just bought a yacht worth $100 million while the state is building him a new stadium at taxpayer expense.  Bills Mafia is imploding.

Which is worse, the cheap owner or the one who flaunts his wealth on expensive personal luxuries while gouging the taxpayer?

The Pegula’s are pretty awful owners. Their hockey team (Sabres) haven’t made the playoffs in 18 years.

No, the night is to honor Dave and Lemar. (I've already said their rooms should be covered) The others were invited to participate if they wish. They can spend their own dime and Boomer should be embarrassed for even bringing it up.

Suggesting Boomer is the one who should feel embarrassed in this situation is crazy. Even for you.

What about the generic stock email?
What about making him purchase extra tickets if he wants to bring more than one person?
What about the tickets just being regular seats and not a box?

Coupon codes?? Gimme a ***** break.

The question could be asked: why did it publicize it in an obvious attempt to embarrass the organization?

The organization has made him a very wealthy man. 

CAN he call them out? Sure

SHOULD he have called them out? Folks can answer that for themselves.

And in turn Boomer made them a ton of money as well. MVP season, Super Bowl run, jersey sales, etc. He was actually the one giving his blood, sweat, and body out on the field for all those years. They did nothing other than being born into the right family.

As for whether he should or not I think the vast majority of outside observers would say yes, they deserve some egg on their face for this one. It would have been so easily avoidable. Just do the right thing by your legends. The maybe $10k they saved by cheaping out can’t be worth all the negative backlash. Unless they just truly don’t care. Which is pretty sad.

I wonder how many organizations in the the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB would take the same approach as the Brown family?
