Legette went early too. 1 breakout year in 5….

RE: ***2024 NFL DRAFT THREAD*** - Nicomo Cosca - 04-26-2024

So much for Carolina trading for Tee.

I'm a huge draft nerd but standing mashed in a crowd waiting 20 minutes for Roger Goodell to announce picks isn't something on my bucket list.

I assume they went WR at #32 because we weren't interested in trading Tee.

Surprised him and legette both went in round one. I was hoping for one at 49.

Somewhere like Vegas would probably be a cool experience. Detroit not so much.

I hope to see this run on wideouts continue for a while here.

Would love to land Newton or Powers Johnson

It appears no one is interested in trading for Tee given his contract demands.

Tee's agent could have very well screwed Tee over for demanding such a huge contract.  If no one trades for Tee this year and he gets hurt again or has a subpar season, Tee can forget about a huge contract with a bunch of guaranteed money next year.

If I were Tee I would be telling my agent to get a deal done with Buffalo before the draft starts tomorrow.  If Tee walks out of the draft without being traded, that could be very bad news for him.

New Dey and all that, but I still don't understand why any player thinks they're going to get anything from demanding a trade from this front office.

Yeah he was taken by Tampa.

Tell me why I shouldn’t worry about Mims getting injured?
All I know is he hasn’t played many games.
What injuries has he had?

Have people REALLY not read up on the guy?

Georgia was churning out talent at OT when Mims was there and that's why he couldn't get on the field.

He's fresh and has little tread: yeah he's not a RB, but these guys play 1,100 snaps a year: if he's good enough, he'll be a cornerstone for a decade.

Mims had a bad injury but he was behind some great players. Mims isn't injured now which is big and he gets to learn behind Trent
Brown one of the best swing Tackles in the NFL and he can learn Guard right there with Cappa, Karras and Volson. You can worry
about Mims getting worried same as Latham honestly who was taken way early IMO.

Latham taken that early is just weird to me, he has really heavy feet, gets beat by inside moves and is slow in run blocking.

Mims does things these others just cannot do. Mims can do it all just hope Pollack doesn't ruin him.

I did Philly and won't do another free event, maybe not even I'd Cincy gets it.  Free event brought the biggest group of people I've ever been part of.

Tee might not be headed to Carolina, but Legette supports my vision of the Panthers releasing Terrace Marshall Jr and a reunion with Burrow and Chase in the Jungle.

If Marshall is cut, he will need to clear waivers.  If the Bengals really want him, they should offer a 7th round pick for him like Houston did to secure Mixon.

Not against adding Terrace.

Would like Tee in Buffalo. Just don't know if they have the Cap to pull it off. If we get a good offer I expect it to be the Patriots now.
