Offense has to play perfect for this team to have a chance. That fumble killed us. Not sure our offense can over come this with this D.

But I do know that. Did Hudson run in there and snap it? No, he ran in there and started to bark signals. Had we intended to snap it, it would have happened the moment he got under center in order to maintain the surprise.

Offensively 15 passes to 7 runs. The 7 runs are getting over 10 yards a pop. Yet on third and 1 they do a weird pass play instead of getting under Center and doing an old fashioned sneak.

If you haven't beaten a team with more than 3 wins all year, and then you lose out, you aren't tanking you just suck.

I feel like this is 98% a coaching problem. If the guys are just not following instructions, then you pick up somebody on the practice squad or off the street that can and it gets better by default. There’s no possible way that every player on the defense is that bad talent wise. The combination of poor scheme and no accountability at all.

We had 3rd and 1 yard and we attempt a pass, then we try to get them to jump off sides on 4th down. We have no asemblance of a functioning offense and don’t know when or how to operate.

Lawrence is 2-7 and a QB rating in the 80s. I wouldn't have put money on the Jags to win even with Lawrence.

What the offense lacks is a true identity and an actual consistent system. They try too often to be cute. Ever wonder why our receivers are always in coverage and opposing receivers are always wide open? On the offensive side it is because our route trees are old and stale - everyone knows them - and add to that the incredibly predictable play calls from Zac.

I don't think they will.
Callahan knows our personnel and playbook intimately. He knows every plays strength, weakness, and intent. He also knows Taylor's tendencies and rationale for every situation we'll encounter. Pretty easy to tell the DC what to run in such situations and shut us down.
