Let's pray you are not as wrong about this bengals season as you are with every other one you predict. Lol - Your 2017 Reds thread was astute and intelligent! See below! You're a genius. McC: The Reds will not suck this year. 03-07-2017, 03:02 PM (03-07-2017, 05:02 PM)McC Wrote: They will be a .500 or better team. If Votto hits over .200 the first two months of the season, who knows what they might do. RE: Your gut feeling this season - Brownshoe - 08-08-2017 So far the majority of the voters have us at least winning a playoff game this year RE: Your gut feeling this season - Lionel Hutz - 08-08-2017 I got 'em 8-8 and just missing playoffs. Feel like the defense and skill positions are playoff-caliber, but the offensive line will cost them a few games and be the reason they miss the playoffs (Patriots, Steelers, Raiders, Titans, Broncos, and Chiefs are your playoff teams). Hope I'm wrong (did I do that right?!). RE: Your gut feeling this season - BonnieBengal - 08-08-2017 I've got to see the O line play in a game before I answer this question. RE: Your gut feeling this season - bengalfan74 - 08-08-2017 So far 25 members think we'll finish with a playoff win or higher. And 28 think we'll be one and done again, or worse. RE: Your gut feeling this season - 'E' - 08-08-2017 Can't bet on this much youth to pay off this year. A slight improvement on last seasons record is possible, but I just don't see a playoff appearance in the cards this year. Just goes to show 25 members have been drinking the 'spiked' kool aid. Count me in the group that thinks we have a real O line problem that gets exposed week 1 and continues thru out the season. RE: Your gut feeling this season - kevin - 08-09-2017 NOT ON THE LIST.....TOO EARLY TO TELL.....That's my GUT feeling. ...I do know Bengals were not a good team last year......They need to put in a ton of Hard Work this August to get better. RE: Your gut feeling this season - reuben.ahmed - 08-09-2017 Allow us to see how good Mixon actually is with a piss poor offensive line. Play him first game as starting RB until the end of the season. Another way to read your poll could be: 33 respondents think the Bengals are making the playoffs, 27 do not. I look back at the playoff losses and it was players that failed to step up in a big way or made crucial mistakes, not coaching that cost us wins in my opinion. Very true. But one could say that the coaches decide who to have on their team (depth chart), who they play (starters), what they play (scheme), how they play (smart, disciplined, etc) and so on. These things also play a huge factor. RE: Your gut feeling this season - Hoofhearted - 08-09-2017 Also, I had us at 8-8, tho I think it will probably be a tick higher (9-6). Not sure if that'll get us in, but if it does I would change it to one-n-done. RE: Your gut feeling this season - Brownshoe - 08-09-2017 To all the doubters, who want's to make a sig bet? I see a lot of people saying we will go 8-8. I'll make the bet easy for you. If we go 9-7 or worse I lose. If we go 10-6 or better I win. I just want 1 condition that will end the bet, and that's if Dalton gets hurt. The loser will have to keep the sig for at least 1 full year from when the team either get's 10 wins or 7 losses. Any takers? RE: Your gut feeling this season - ochocincos - 08-09-2017 (08-09-2017, 09:33 AM)Brownshoe Wrote: To all the doubters, who want's to make a sig bet? When is the "deadline" for deciding if someone is in on the sig bet or not? Before the first preseason game or before the start of the regular season? I think the Browns beat us once. I think we beat the Steelers once. I think we beat the Ravens once. I think we beat a really good team like the Packers. I think we lose to Jacksonville and Cleveland. |
